| Troop 41 meets
every Monday night at the Community Church when Mountain Lakes public school is in session.
If the school has a holiday, we do not normally have a Troop meeting. If a meeting location or
time is to be changed, an announcement will be made at the meeting prior to the special meeting.
The Troop meeting opens at 7:30 PM and closes at 9:00 PM. Scouts are required to be on time. It disrupts our meeting if they are late. Campouts are normally held once a month. The Troop meets at the Community Church and departs from there. Departure times will be announced. The Troop normally returns from campouts mid-Sunday afternoon. Scouts are brought home after the campout. Permission slips signed by a parent are required for each campout. Scout Sunday is usually the first Sunday in February. This is a Troop function with the Troop attending services at our sponsoring organization, the Community Church. Scouts who wish to be excused should discuss this with the Scoutmaster. A successful program depends upon the scout attending all scheduled events. This allows him the opportunity to advance and benefit from the program. |
