Center for American Women and Politics, a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, has conducted innovative research, education and public service programs to analyze and increase women's presence in public office. The Center fosters women's participation in politics and government through multi-faceted programs. The Center runs a "Ready to Run" conference for potential women candidates and appointees to hear directly from prominent elected and appointed leaders, campaign consultants and party officials about how to get Ready to Run.
