Lakes Management Consensus

Recommendations:

Drop the 1994 Lakes Management consensus as the goals have already been achieved.




The Board of Education should adopt the study of our lakes (currently a project in the fourth grade) into the science curriculum in all the schools.




The Borough Council should continue educating the residents about lakes preservation and upkeep through the Borough newsletter and the Lakes Management Committee.




The Borough Council should continue to educate people servicing the community of Mountain lakes (i.e. builders, contractors, landscapers, etc.) about preservation and upkeep of the lakes.




The League of Women Voters in Mountain Lakes should update and republish "Know Your Lakes."
