Program Description
The track program is designed to help children become familiar with the sport and is split into two divisions. Runners aged 8 and under are in what we call the Clinic program while age groups 9 and older participate in the Junior Track program. The teams are further split into smaller age groups and gender. The Clinic has meets on Friday evenings and the 9-14 year olds compete with the Junior Track League on Sunday afternoons. Track events for the Clinic range from the 50 yard dash to the 800. The Juniors compete in the 100 through the mile. There are relays and special county wide meets for the Junior group.. In the field, the older team competes in the long jump and shot put.
We compete with other towns in Morris county, with meets held both at our home track and away . Please check the links on this page to access the schedules and team coaches. Last minute announcements can be found by calling ( 973) 334-3183, ext. 7
