The Community Church was first known as Mountain Lakes Church. The cornerstone was laid in 1914 and it was the first public edifice in Mountain Lakes. In its early years, the church bell doubled as a fire alarm.

Continue in the same direction on Briarcliff Road. Stay to the left at the intersection with Larchdell Road. The road will curve to the right and the school is on left.
