My father,John E. Lee, is 92 years old and living in Basking Ridge. He moved to Mountain Lakes as a young boy and his father was an architect of many of the houses in town as well as working on the Lake Drive School and the library.

My father practiced law in the area for all of his adult life and has wonderful stories about the town. He might be a wonderful resource for an oral history if someone were interested. As a matter of fact, he was telling me about Mr. Leutell the other night. Mr. Leutell wrote the alma mater. Dad is in a retirement village and has met another man there whom he knew as a child in Mountain Lakes. They are having a wonderful time reminiscing. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will ask Dad.
