The Forms Center is where you can find downloadable application forms grouped by Borough department.  Save time, work, and cost. Download the form you need to your computer, fill in the information, and then print out the finished product.

Some of these files are in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (pdf).  This format is convenient to insure the document looks exactly right on all computers.  Pdf is a universal format, a lingua franca of the web, just like sending a fax.  BUT, you have to have the reader for it.  Most computers already have the reader but if yours doesn't, you can get one free here.  Once you have it, you can read any Acrobat document.
