Every year for the last 48 years, we have celebrated the United Nations weekend.
During this special and exciting weekend, United Nations families and foreign students spend a weekend in our beautiful town. Many families open up their homes and host a guest. Children and teens create wonderful posters to put on display, and many wonderful activities are planned for our guests throughout the weekend. Please encourage your child or students to create posters.
Posters submitted should convey the following theme: "Young people should be included in policies, programs, and decision-making processes that benefit their futures and ours." (UN Secretary-General Ban)
