Worship is at the very center of life together at The Community Church. All ages share in worship services that are supported by God's Word in Scripture, prayers, preaching and music. We believe that we are nurture for faithfulness in our worship. It is our experience that worship inspires and guides our life and work together.
Sunday services in the Sanctuary begin at 10 A.M. and the Memorial Chapel is open at 9 A.M. for reflection and meditation. In July and August, worship is conducted at 9 A.M.
Infant care is provided during the Sanctuary worship service, and Sunday School (ages 3 through Grade 12) is conducted from 10:15 A.M. until 11:15 A.M. Families gather occasionally to worship together around special Church Seasons and events.
Coffee fellowship following the worship service provides a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors. Our rich collection of books and resources in the Church Library Corner are available for all ages in our Church.
The Board of Deacons is responsible for assisting in the weekly worship services, including sharing in the offering of the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism. The annual Maundy Thursday Service is provided by the Deacons. The Deacons, through the Audio-Visual committee, provides audio tapes of the weekly worship services to shut-ins and offers amplification devices for the hearing impaired in worship.
