of these destructive insects. Asian
longhorned beetles (ALB)
love to hitch rides in
firewood from infested areas into non-infested areas. Once in a neighborhood,
these beetles will destroy the hardwood trees.
The U.S. Department of
Agriculture needs your help to wipe out the Asian longhorned beetle. If
you live in one of these locations, do not transport firewood out of the area.
