A meeting of the Mountain Lakes Web Site Committee was held on May 10, 2006 at the Mountain Lakes Borough Hall.  In attendance were Clive Knowles, Mark Watrous, Nilesh Shringarpure and Borough Council Liaison George Jackson.
Absent was Chairman Andy Bulfer (on a well-deserved vacation).

Activities Since Last Meeting

• Andy Bulfer did not submit a list of items performed during the last month. We will expect a lengthy list of activities from him next month!
  
  
• Mark Watrous put the "Touch-A-Truck" information on the Recreation Home page. He then removed the information after the event (May 7th).
  
  
• Mark Watrous received a request from Recreation Director Denise Brennan to put photos of the winner of the Trout Derby on the web site. She was informed we would need permission from the parents of the youth before putting his/her photo on. She has not yet replied with the parental permission.
  
  
• Clive Knowles continued to monitor the Notice Board. Several notices were posted referring to other pages on the web site. Clive inserted links in each of these notices to the pages referenced.
  
  
• Mark Watrous sent the instructions for uploading minutes to Glenn Tippy of the Woodlands Committee.
  
  
• Clive Knowles worked on the Garden Club page to change the upcoming event featured.
  
  
• Mark Watrous made several changes for the Boy Scouts.
  
  
• George Jackson reviewed the FAQs page.  He will report more progress at the next meeting.
  
  
• Nilesh Shringarpure updated the biography of Gary Webb. He is still working on one aspect and expects to complete it this month.
  
  
• Mark Watrous wrote and submitted an article for the June HSA Bulletin.
  
  
• Mark Watrous wrote a script to check the spelling on each web page. He found at least 15 pages with spelling errors the first time he executed it.
  
  
• Mark Watrous continued to monitor page load errors. He was able to make some minor changes to reduce the number of errors.
  
  
• Mark Watrous set up an email address for the new town nurse.

The next regular meeting will be on June 14, 2006 at Borough Hall.
