A meeting of the Mountain Lakes Web Site Committee was held on November 9, 2005 at the Mountain Lakes Borough Hall.

In attendance were Clive Knowles, Council Liaison Ralph Loveys and Mark Watrous

Absent were Chairman Andy Bulfer and Jud Breslin.

Activities Since Last Meeting

The last meeting was held on October 12, 2005.  Since then,

• Mark Watrous contacted Christina Whitaker and she was able to upload Borough Council Agenda and meeting Minutes to the web site using the instructions provided.
  
  
• Mark also contacted Paul Shorb of the Environmental Commission and Nikki Davis (Michael Prevoznik's assistant) of the Recreation Commission.  It is expected they will use the feature for their committees in the near future.  Mark still needs to contact the Woodlands Committee and the Lakes Management Committee.
  

• Clive Knowles reported the Schools Emergency Closing feature has been activated on the web site.  Fran Patton has been instructed as to its use and will educate her replacement before she retires in December.
  
  
• Ralph Loveys reported he checked into the issue of providing property tax information on the site.  He found that the Morris County government web site already has this information on it.  We could put a link on our site to the relevant pages on the county's site.
  

Review of Past Items

• As Andrew Bulfer was absent, there was no discussion of the HPC area of the web site.
  
  
• A discussion of the Recreation Department's area of the web site concluded with the agreement that we should attempt to update the Winter activities to get those pages current.
  

New Discussion Items

• There were no new discussion items at the meeting.

The next regular meeting will be on December 14, 2005 at Borough Hall.
