How do I register a security/intrusion/fire alarm? Come to the police department and fill out a form stating the name of the security/fire Alarm Company and emergency contact information.

How do I register a vacation check? Come to the police department and fill out a form in person stating time period being away, any alarm system in house and where you can be reached if there is an emergency.

How do I apply for firearms permit to purchase? Get an application at the police headquarters. The application is for both firearms identification card and permit to purchase a handgun. Applicant must be 21 years of age. Upon completion it must be returned to the police station. You will be required to produce a firearms trigger lock prior to the issuance of any firearms permit.

What if I see a wild animal? Do not approach or harass the animal in any way. The animal control officer will loan traps to Borough residents who are plagued by undesirable wild animals. If such an animal is trapped, the officer will remove it.
