HOUSE RENOVATIONS AND ADDITIONS

This set of pages will contain an overview page which will discuss the process of applying for the necessary permits for doing work on your property in Mountain Lakes. 

Not only will this go into the basic permitting, but it will get into a discussion concerning the Floor Area Ratio and Impervious Coverage calculations.  It will help people (hopefully!) understand whether or not they may need a variance to do the work that they would like to do, and there will be a downloadable set of forms for applying for a variance. 

There will ultimately be links between this page and the ordinances, the Board of Adjustment and the Planning Board.  We also need to cover the issue of the Borough Right-of-way and that the Council has the final authority for building within that Right-of-Way.
