Waterfowl Feeding Ordinance

Ordinance database: SS 79-12

Large numbers of geese and ducks, and occasionally other types of waterfowl on and around the Borough lakes causes pollution of the lakes and surrounding beaches.

No person shall feed or provide food for wild geese, ducks, or other waterfowl anywhere in the Borough, on either public or private property.  The exception to this ordinance is the temporary nurturing of wounded birds or waterfowl on one’s own property.
