Animal Ordinance

Ordinance database: SS 79-3

 

All pet keepers must curb their animals. 

 

No domesticated animal is allowed to soil, defile, defecate on or commit any nuisance on any common thoroughfare, sidewalk, passageway, bypath, play area, park or any place where people congregate or walk or on any public property or upon private property without the permission of said property owner.

 

Pet keepers must remove all feces deposited by their animal immediately, and dispose of the feces in a sanitary manner.

 

No animal is allowed to injure or damage any lawn, garden, shrubbery, flowers, trees, grounds or other property.  The animal owner is responsible for any fines and damages levied.
