Charter: |
Establish and implement policy for managing the town bulletin board which reflects the desires of the borough council to increase community awareness of events, activities, and policies effecting the borough and general welfare of its citizens. This will entail the following:

A. |
Select message to be posted. |

B. |
The criteria for making this selection are as follows:
- That it perform a public service.
- That it enhance community awareness of an event or activity of a non profit organization. This will obviously include both borough and school sponsored events and activities.
- Personal messages are prohibited.

C. |
Post messages as required but targeted at three per week and one per weekend. |

D. |
The borough clerk shall provide a repository for prospective messages in the borough hall. |

E. |
Members shall be appointed by the borough council and serve for a term of 2 years and shall be no more than 10 in number. |

F. |
Committee is subject to those considerations in the general charter for advisory committees of the borough which have not already been delineated, with the exception of the following:
- 1.1 Goals and Objectives.
- 2.3 Council Liason.
- 7.5 Annual Written Report.
- 7.7 Communications for Public Distribution.
- 8.3 Budget Requirements.

The committee shall meet as required to insure their charter is fulfilled, but at a minimum of once per year. |
